Discover Carmarthenshire at the Merlin's Hill Centre
The Merlin's Hill Centre is at Alltyfyrddin - a farm steeped in history, shrouded in mystery and rich in wildlife. This land has been farmed for over 2000 years.
Follow in the footsteps of Merlin the wizard and walk up the ancient paths to the site of an Iron Age Hillfort. Experience breathtaking views of Carmarthenshire and beyond, a landscape shaped with historical fact. Listen for Merlin's ghostly wailings, for legend has it, he is imprisoned within this hill.
Down on the farmyard, wander around the heritage centre and discover the area's history and traditions, and learn about farming - past and present.
Alltyfyrddin is a prize-winning modern dairy farm with a herd of 200 cows. Stay and watch the cows being milked and meet some of their farmyard friends.
Enjoy a picnic whilst the children play in the play area. Ample car parking is available.

Discounts and guided tours are available for pre-booked groups of 15 or more throughout the year.
We regret that, due to the nature of the terrain, the hills avail very little access to the disabled, however, the farmyard and heritage centre are wheelchair friendly.
Dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are allowed only in the car park on a lead.
